South Carolina Gamecocks Columbia Sport reviews
They still rock!
When I saw South Carolina Gamecocks 31 years ago, I loved them. They played a small venue in Atlanta at that time, sharing the bill with Cheap Trick. I decided it was time to treat my son to his first big concert when he turned 14, and South Carolina Gamecocks seemed right.
The band delivered, and we were not disappointed. The campy fun of South Carolina Gamecocks was added to by the special effects, but there are certainly more than in the past. I would have been happy to see a stripped-down stage with just the raw energy of the band, still, my two 14-year-old companions and I loved the show.
I loved the show, but I do recommend ear plugs. That wall of Marshall amps can be a monster.
